Lanie's B-day weekend

Lanie is almost 2, so we decided to celebrate with a special day for our princess. The first stop was the Hairy Elephant. Lanie got her first haircut. She was a pro.

Next we went to the farmers market to look at the fruit and veggies. We also saw a train as an added bonus:)

On to the toy store where nothing was too good for our princess-- well nothing under $50. Lanie picked a stuffed giraffe and a princess story book. She also got to ride with Big Bird after we checked out.

Last stop was lunch at Steak n Shake. She loved it!!!

Not a bad life for an almost 2 year old.

Lanie Belle has exploded.

In a few short months, the progeny has developed into a high energy, hell-raisin', fireball.

The employment gods smiled on the family, and Lanie now attends a futuristic, military style daycare run by a beautiful Chinese family with two daughters named Jessica.

The school has everything. With loving caregivers, Chinese lessons, calisthenics and a ballanced diet of many different kinds of noodles, Lanie is at Baby Harvard.

Fun-fact: The percentage of Asian students at both institutions is an exact sixty-six.
